On October 19, 2009, I appeared on Arizona Illustrated (KUAT-TV) with host Tony Paniagua
to discuss my new book, co-authored with Susan B. Schuster, After Brain Injury: Telling
Your Story, the first journaling workbook for people with brain injury. See the video
clip here.
In the Nov. 21, 2008 issue of her Writing It Real ezine, Sheila Bender interviewed
me about writing What I Thought I Knew. While Writing It Real is a subscription Web
site, with much of the content available only to paid subscribers, Sheila graciously
provided a special link to the interview so that anyone can read it here.I highly
recommend Writing It Real to writers interested in writing from personal experience,
at which Sheila is a master. She has written seven books on writing, including Writing
the Personal Essay: How to Shape Your Life Experiences for the Page, as well as several
books of poetry.
On Nov. 5, 2008, Brad Swift interviewed me on his radio program, Living and Working
on Purpose, about writing, life purpose, and What I Thought I Knew. It is now archived
and available for listening and downloading here. Brad Swift is the founder and director
of the Life on Purpose Institute, a leading life purpose coach, an author, and speaker.
His latest book, LIFE ON PURPOSE: Six Passages to an Inspired Life, is receiving
critical acclaim for the practical tools and techniques included in the book. Recently,
the book was recognized by USA Book News for its National Best Books 2007 Award,
in the Self Help - Motivational Category. It is also an integral part of the Life
On Purpose Home Study Courses. The archived page with all the LWOP shows is here.
On Arizona Illustrated , Sept. 24, 2008, I discussed with host Bill Buckmaster What
I Thought I Knew and Wrangling with Writing, the large Tucson writing conference
for which I was co-director. See the video clip here.
