I’m honored to present this original journaling workshop for The Diet Doc, designed for people who want to attain permanent weight loss and fitness goals through self-awareness and mindfulness. In this free session, you will learn easy journaling techniques to assist you in attaining your weight loss and fitness goals. These techniques also allow you to explore all aspects of your life and mine your inner resources for golden nuggets of insight. Research shows that cultivating awareness of our beliefs and thoughts allows us to use them more intuitively and with greater respect. This helps us relieve stress so we can remain mindful in the present moment and welcome our emotions, rather than feel abused by them. When we are comfortable with our emotions, we are less likely to indulge in behaviors that do not serve us well. Journaling is one of the best ways to cultivate awareness and mindfulness. Writing in a personal journal for just a few minutes a day is a simple yet powerful method of self-exploration that leads to self-empowerment. Furthermore, studies have shown that journaling is a key strategy for losing weight and keeping the pounds off, regardless of the diet used. Several hundred other studies have demonstrated that journaling provides additional benefits for body, mind, and spirit. Top
